The Renegade Room

Visibility in action.
Strategy in community. Connection that counts.

High-impact live and digital experiences where ambitious moms — founders, entrepreneurs, professionals, and creatives — step into the spotlight, sharpen their voice, and build the strategies and connections that move their work forward.

When mothers get visible, everything changes.

Motherhood reshapes how we show up — in business, careers, leadership and in life.

We carry the work, the schedules, the invisible load — and still make things happen.
But too often, our ideas and expertise stay behind the scenes.

So we built a room for us.

The Renegade Room is for moms who lead, build, and create — and are done shrinking their work, their voice, or their ambition.

This isn’t networking.

It’s facilitated, strategic connection and visibility in action — designed to help you clarify how you talk about your work, grow your confidence, and expand your reach with intention.

No performative crap. No awkward pitching. Just real conversation, thoughtful collaboration, and visibility strategies that actually work.

"So much more than your typical networking group."

"I walk into the room and BOOM… I feel seen!

Immediately you’re welcomed into this room of not just women, but mamas in business, the ones who GET IT!"

Inside The Renegade Room

Each experience, live or online, blends voice, visibility, and village.

You’ll get clearer on how you show up, how you’re seen, and who’s in your corner.

It’s strategy you can feel built on confidence, connection, and real-world action.

Who It's For:

Moms who mean business - literally.

Whether you’re running a company, leading a team, or building something new from your kitchen table, you belong here.

Our events are designed for women who:

  • Want to be known for their work — not just busy behind the scenes

  • Value connection over competition

  • Are ready to speak up, show up, and be seen for what they bring to the table

We see every version of motherhood here: biological, adoptive, foster, bonus, step, and grand.

The common thread? You’re nurturing ideas, people, and possibilities — and you’re ready for the next stage of visibility.

"I always leave inspired, energized and so glad I came."

The support and connections here are incredible. If you’re on the fence, just come. You don’t have to do this alone.

Joanne Homestead | Mom x2, Expert Copywriter & Coach

Not a mom, but you align with the mission? You’re welcome here.

We also welcome women and female-identifying leaders who champion working moms and believe in creating space for visibility, equity, and collaboration.

"In just 90 minutes inside a digital Renegade Room, I felt more supported by a group of strangers than I had in the entire last year of building my business."

I’ve spent a lot of time in women-focused and mom-centered networking spaces, joined programs, worked with coaches—done all the things. The energy in this group is truly magical.

Renegade Room FAQs

RR FAQs

What is a Renegade Room?

Renegade Rooms are facilitated, interactive experiences designed to help you think, connect, and move forward — together.

This is not a traditional 'toss cards around' networking event or tedious sit and listen workshop or lecture. You’ll think out loud, pressure-test ideas, sharpen how you talk about your work, and make more intentional visibility and connection choices — in real time, with other people in the room. This is grounded, immersive, authentic and conversation-driven work.

What’s the difference between live and digital Renegade Rooms?

Both live and digital Renegade Rooms are facilitated experiences — the difference is the container, not the level of connection.

Live Renegade Rooms

  • In-person, conversation-rich, and energetic

  • Include organic, in-room connection and local relationship building

  • Designed for people who want face-to-face interaction alongside real, guided work

Digital Renegade Rooms

  • Live, online experiences (not watch-later content)

  • Include guided conversation, breakout discussions, and intentional connection time

  • Designed for people who can’t travel or prefer to participate remotely — without losing the interactive feel

Both formats include:

  • Light matchmaking

  • Facilitated conversation and hands-on work throughout

  • Breakouts and opportunities to connect with others in the room

  • Access to The Renegade Drop

  • A post-event guest list to support thoughtful follow-up

I hate networking events. Is this for me?

Probably — especially if traditional networking makes you cringe. Renegade Rooms aren’t built around small talk, pitching, or working the room. They’re facilitated experiences with structure, prompts, and guided conversation — so connection happens through the work, not awkward intros. If you like thoughtful conversation, real questions, and leaving with something useful (not just business cards thrown at you), you’ll likely feel more at home here than at a typical networking event.

I’m an introvert. Will this still work for me?

Yes. Renegade Rooms are intentionally designed to support different communication styles.

You’ll have opportunities to speak and participate, but you won’t be put on the spot or expected to perform. Breakouts are structured, facilitation is clear, and there’s space to engage at a level that feels right for you. Many self-described introverts tell us they feel more comfortable in Renegade Rooms than in open, unstructured events — because the container does some of the work for you.

I’m not a mom. Is this still for me?

Renegade Rooms are designed for working moms and centered on the context of motherhood. While not every event is explicitly focused on motherhood, it is the lens and lived context that shapes the room and the Renegade Motherhood brand. Female-identifying participants who support that mission — and are comfortable in a mom-centered space — are welcome.

I don’t have a business. Is this still for me?

You don’t need to own a business to participate. Renegade Rooms are designed primarily for working moms — including business owners, leaders, creatives, and professionals who are thinking about visibility, voice, and how they show up in their work and beyond.

However, many attendees are:

  • exploring what’s next

  • building something on the side

  • leading within an organization

  • or in a season of transition or reinvention

What matters most is that you’re interested in intentional work, meaningful conversation, and being part of a facilitated room — not whether you have a business card or LLC. If you’re interested in clarity, connection, and thoughtful conversation about work and visibility, you’ll likely feel at home.

What is The Renegade Drop?

The Renegade Drop is a curated collection of tools, resources, and partner offers designed to support momentum after the event. It’s not filler or spam. Everything included is intentionally selected and delivered digitally after the event. Access to The Renegade Drop is included with your ticket.

Will I get a guest list?

Yes. After the event, attendees who show up at the event will receive a post-event guest list (first name + business name, with social links where available) to support thoughtful follow-up and continued connection - not spamming.

Can I bring my kids?

Renegade Room events are designed primarily for adults and include open, candid conversation (sometimes with adult language). Babies-in-arms are always welcome, and older children may attend if it feels like a good fit for both you and the room. If you’re unsure, feel free to reach out ahead of time.

What’s different about a Special Edition Renegade Room?

Special Edition Renegade Rooms are longer, deeper experiences.

Instead of a standard session, these are extended working rooms (often around 3 hours) and may include:

  • multiple facilitators

  • hands-on exercises

  • more time to work through ideas

  • snacks, coffee, and sponsor support (for live events)

Same Renegade Room DNA — just more space to go deeper.

Are tickets refundable or transferable?

All tickets are non-refundable. Standard paid tickets may be gifted to another person with advance notice unless otherwise noted on the ticket.

Lab member pricing and Founder access (including discounted or free tickets) are non-transferable and may only be used by the original registrant.

What happens if weather cancels a live event?

Events are held rain or shine unless otherwise noted. If an event must be cancelled due to weather or safety concerns, we’ll make our best effort to reschedule and transfer your ticket. If the new date doesn’t work, your ticket may be used for a similarly priced Renegade Room event within 90 days or longer depending on the calendar of events. If the organizer cancels the event due to reasons beyond weather, you will be given the option to transfer your ticket to future event or receive a refund.

Is there a way to pay less for tickets?

Yes. Most Renegade Room events include at least one pay-what-you-can Mutual Aid ticket, available on a sliding scale for someone who would benefit from being in the room but for whom the full ticket price isn’t accessible right now. These tickets must be used by the registrant.

Members of the Renegade Motherhood Digital Coaching program, The Visibility Lab, receive significantly discounted pricing for most Renegade Room events.

Can I sponsor a Renegade Room?

We love aligned sponsors who champion working moms. Please click here to send us a note if you are interested in sponsorship opportunities.

Can I speak at a Renegade Room?

Yes — every Renegade Room is designed for participation. Attendees have multiple opportunities to speak, contribute, and be heard, whether in breakout groups or during facilitated whole-room segments.

If you’re curious about being a keynote speaker, panelist, or facilitator, please know that we are highly selective about who we invite into those roles. Speakers and facilitators are curated based on alignment, experience, and the specific focus of each room.  If you’re interested in being considered for a future Renegade Room, you’re welcome to contact us with a brief note about your work and why you feel it’s a fit.
