Hey, I’m Jen Morris - professional actor turned entrepreneur, coach, and founder of Renegade Motherhood™ and The Visibility Lab.
I’ve basically been putting on shows my entire life.
I was the kid staging full productions in my living room - complete with costumes, storylines, and a captive audience of stuffed animals and patient parents.
So it’s no surprise I built a career on helping others express themselves with confidence and authenticity.
With more than 20 years of professional stage experience, a degree in public relations, and a track record of building multiple successful coaching businesses, you’d think I’d have had the confidence thing handled.
But for years, I wrestled with the pressure to fit in - following everyone else’s playbook, shrinking myself to match what others expected, and ignoring cool shit that made me stand out.
I bought into the idea that success meant staying small, blending in, and doing things “the right way.”
Spoiler alert: it didn’t make me happy.
Then I became a mom, and the pressure to fit into everyone else’s idea of “enough” hit an all-time high.
Sure, I made money and checked some of the “success” boxes.
But I was exhausted, constantly second-guessing myself, holding back, and trying to make it look easy while carrying an invisible load.
And here’s the part that hit hardest:
I was trying to raise creative, curious, confident daughters all the while playing small and holding myself back professionally. Even with all that experience on stage and in business, I still found myself questioning if I was doing it right.
E-fucking-nough.
Once I stopped chasing everyone else’s strategy and started owning my voice, story, and presence, everything shifted.

Can I join the Visibility Lab at any time?
Yes. You can join the Visibility Lab anytime. When you join, you get immediate access to everything — including live sessions — plus the Foundation Lab, which you can move through at your own pace. You do not need to complete the Foundation Lab before joining live calls.
What is the Foundation Lab?
The Foundation Lab is a self-paced starting point that helps you clarify how you talk about your work, where it makes sense for you to be visible, and what to focus on next. It’s designed to support you alongside the live sessions, not delay your participation.
How long do I have access?
Your membership includes 12 months of access. The Visibility Lab is designed as a full-year experience so your visibility can develop, compound, and evolve over time — with the flexibility to step back when life gets busy and re-engage without losing momentum.
Is this self-paced or live?
Both. You’ll have live, facilitated sessions throughout the year, a self-paced Foundation you can revisit anytime, and recordings and resources to support real life and changing schedules. You can engage in whatever order works for you.
How much time does this actually take each month?
There’s no required time commitment. Most members attend one or two live sessions a month and use the Foundation or recordings as needed. You’re encouraged to engage in a way that fits your schedule — not keep up with everything.
I don’t have time for another thing.
That’s exactly why the Lab is designed the way it is. There’s no required pace, no pressure to keep up, and no penalty for stepping back when life gets busy. You engage when it fits — and pick back up without losing momentum.
What if I can’t attend everything live?
That’s expected. All live sessions are recorded, and many members move in and out depending on their season. You don’t have to attend everything to get value.
Who is the Visibility Lab for?
The Lab is for people who want to be more intentional about how they’re seen and understood. Members include local and small business owners, founders, consultants, service providers, professionals growing their influence inside organizations, creatives, speakers, and community builders. Some are already visible. Others are figuring out what visibility should look like next.
I own a local or small business — is this right for me?
Yes. The Lab works especially well for local and small business owners who want clearer language, smarter visibility choices, and stronger connection — without feeling like they need to be everywhere or follow online-only strategies.
Is this only for moms?
While this is a mom-forward program, The Visibility Lab is open to female-identifying people, whether or not you’re a parent. Motherhood is part of the broader context of Renegade Motherhood, so it will come up in examples or conversations. Non-moms are welcome as long as they’re comfortable in a space where motherhood is part of the lens.
Do I have to want to public speak or be active on social media?
No. Visibility isn’t one-size-fits-all. Inside the Lab, you clarify the visibility channels that actually fit your voice, energy, and goals — whether that’s speaking, writing, collaborating, pitching yourself, or simply talking about your work with confidence. No forced platforms and no pressure to go viral.
Will this tell me exactly what to post or where to show up?
The Lab helps you clarify where it makes sense for you to be visible and how to talk about your work with confidence. It does not force everyone into the same platform, posting schedule, or strategy. The focus is on intentional choices you can sustain.
Are there other benefits to being a Visibility Lab member?
Yes. Visibility Lab members receive discounted access to Renegade Room events, which are live and digital experiences hosted by Renegade Motherhood. These are facilitated, interactive sessions focused on clarity, conversation, and connection — not traditional networking events or lectures.
Where does everything take place?
