About Renegade Motherhood™
Renegade Motherhood™ helps moms in business get visible, connected, and paid — without contorting themselves into someone else’s version of success.
This is a home for ambitious women who don’t need more motivation…
They need room.
Room to think out loud.
Room to workshop their ideas.
Room to shape their work and show it off — in ways that feel aligned, strategic, and human.
Renegade Motherhood was founded in 2024 after what started as a single post in a Facebook moms group sparked something bigger: a clear hunger for real connection, smarter visibility, and spaces where motherhood wasn’t treated like a professional liability.
When that space didn’t exist, we built it.
Today, Renegade Motherhood is a growing ecosystem of live events, digital experiences, and community — anchored by The Visibility Lab and The Renegade Room — designed to help moms in business be seen for what they’re actually building.
Our Values
Renegade Motherhood believes visibility is not vanity — it’s access, opportunity, and impact.
We’re committed to:
-
Creating spaces that are welcoming, inclusive, and radically honest
-
Supporting moms at different seasons, stages, and income levels
-
Paying it forward whenever possible
We offer sliding-scale and mutual aid options for select experiences and have supported community causes including the Sister Carmen Community Center and other initiatives.

Meet Jen Morris
Jen Morris is a visibility strategist, community builder, speaker, and mom of two who helps ambitious moms lead with authentic visibility — not polish, not perfection.
She’s the founder of Renegade Motherhood™, home to The Visibility Lab, a creative coaching experience and community for moms ready to find their voice, sharpen their message, and make their work impossible to ignore.
Jen is also the host of the Business Like a Mother podcast and the creator of The Renegade Room, a high-impact event series that brings smart women together to workshop ideas, collaborate, and get visible in real life.
As a professional actor and seasoned entrepreneur, Jen brings over two decades of stage, storytelling, speaking and branding experience into everything she does. She’s appeared on hundreds of stages, worked in commercial and theatrical productions across the country, and taught workshops and delivered talks at dozens of companies and organizations throughout the East Coast and Colorado.
Her work blends strategy, storytelling, and presence — helping trailblazers claim the spotlight in ways that actually fit their lives and feel really f’ing good.
Before Renegade Motherhood, Jen’s love of connection and facilitation led her to serve as President of two BNI chapters in New York City and Denver. In 2018, she co-founded Gather Networking, a Denver-based organization that grew quickly before shuttering during the pandemic.
After giving birth to her second child at the height of COVID — and slowly re-entering the world the following year — Jen saw a clear gap. There were plenty of business resources for women, but very few spaces built for moms who wanted real conversation, real strategy, and real community.
So she built what she couldn’t find.
Jen has been featured in outlets including Well + Good, Authority Magazine, PureWow, and Holistic Living Magazine, has appeared on numerous podcasts, and continues to speak, facilitate, and lead rooms for women building meaningful, revenue-generating work.
She has also served as Chair of the Board of Directors for a nonprofit performing and creative arts education center in Colorado, helping raise tens of thousands of dollars for scholarships and operations, chairing an annual gala, and leading a nationwide search for an Executive Director.
Because she clearly doesn't do well not having multiple projects, Jen created and co-leads an entrepreneur club at her daughters’ elementary school, giving students early exposure to creativity, confidence, and problem-solving through business ideas and pitching. The school serves a high-needs, Title I population, and the work reflects a simple belief: kids already have ideas — they just need a container to build them.
When she’s not hosting rooms, recording podcasts, or coaching clients, Jen is usually reheating the same cup of coffee for the third time, pulling clean clothes out of the laundry basket, looking for overdue library books, and wondering where the hell she left her keys — while quietly believing more moms, coaches, and founders should be honest about the chaos behind the scenes.

Jen is a dynamic speaker, creative problem solver, and revolutionary leader.
She is a knowledgeable and passionate business coach who effectively builds relationships and prioritizes connection and integrity. She knows that celebrating diversity and creating inclusive spaces is essential for success.
Any mom who wants to birth or grow a business needs to connect with her!
